A 5 day workshop Monday through Friday 10:00AM to 3:30PM, January 20 to 24
This is first and foremost an embroidery workshop. We will go over stitches, technique, design and design transfer, and anything else students would like. At the start of class we discuss what everyone would like to get out of the class. Some students are interested in design techniques, some want to learn specific stitches, some are beginners and don’t know what to expect (this class is perfect for beginners! I would take at least one Foundation class before though to make sure you like embroidery….)
We also discuss the magic of intention that can be applied to embroidery. We talk about the symbolism of color and using certain shapes to convey an intention. I will showcase some of my most personal pieces that are not shared with any other class. We will also talk about the healing properties of doing this slow art! If you would like further details about this class please email me at tandeskeembroidery@gmail.com
